OUR STORY: is really HIStory
Through a series of events, the Lord led our Servant Director to participate in the Fire in the Night 3-month internship January of 2003 at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, Missouri. While receiving personal ministry near the end of her time there, the Lord made this impression on her heart – I’ve imparted to you the foundation of this house so you can plant it where I tell you to plant it. Over time, it became clear that Canton, Michigan was the Lord’s intended strategic location for Desert Voice Ministries. In December of 2007, we held our first private gathering. In June of 2008, we held our first public gathering.
OUR HEART: to complement the local church not compete with her

OUR PURPOSE: to make ready a people prepared for the Lord
…and you shall call his name John… For he will be great in the sight of the Lord… He will also be filled with the Holy Spirit… He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah… to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. [Luke 1:13-17]
OUR STRATEGY: education + encounter = experiential transformation
And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. [II Corinthians 3:18]
